Course Description

A Study of Classical Mythology is geared to ages 13-18. Over the course of 90 lessons, students will learn the history of ancient Greece and Rome, be introduced to the fascinating classical pantheon, and then read more than 30 memorable myths. The textbook organizes these stories of mortals, monsters, and heroes into clear, thematic sections, and the lessons, activities, and projects then bring these stories to life by pointing out their countless connections to our modern world. Ideal for the curious student, this course combines enjoyment with rigor to celebrate the continued rich relevance of ancient stories.
