Thomasina grew up studying classical ballet pre-professionally, but the visual arts always held her heart. She’s now a certified PreK-12 visual arts educator with specialties in digital design and art history, and she has over 20 years of experience with both in-person instruction and virtual learning. Thomasina has experience creating arts curriculum, supports fellow arts educators through professional development programming, and coordinated a state-wide on-center art program for cyber school students. She’s affiliated with the National Art Education Association, and she works with the Artifact Creative team to review and code courses and to organize social media channels.

Nick holds a BA in communications and has served as the Creative Manager for Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center since 2016. He creates dynamic visual content that support the performances in the Center’s two theater spaces to increase community engagement. As a freelance designer, he also collaborates with The Broadway League, Pittsburgh CLO, and other regional arts groups. A career highlight includes designing the Playbill for the annual Jimmy Awards on Broadway. In addition to his design work, Nicholas performs regularly in regional musical theater productions throughout the Pittsburgh area.

While earning degrees in music and accounting, Katie launched her own bookkeeping business and later worked in the accounting department of a private country club. A new chapter led her to working at a performing arts center, where her passion for the arts and sharp eye for detail truly flourished. Katie spent several years as a ticket sales manager before applying her skills to proofreading and quality control. She now works closely with the Artifact Creative team to ensure every component of the curriculum is consistent, clear, and polished. Outside of work, Katie plays in her local wind ensemble and serves as treasurer for the Friends of the Library.

Grace graduated from the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and went on to major in psychology and minor in studio art. While she was still a junior in high school, she was asked to complete some prototype drawings for the Kate and Oliver series of books. Her concepts were so successful that she has continued to work with Artifact Creative’s writers, designers, and animators since then to provide illustrations for their print and digital materials. Grace has held positions as both a recreational therapist for seniors and a support specialist for adolescents and is pursuing a master’s degree in social work.

Kevin is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University Communications Design program and completed the fellowship program at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. He has spent more than 40 years in the communications business, working as a designer, creative director, and brand manager. He has extensive experience in the educational field and works closely with Artifact Creative’s directors to design clear, engaging print and digital material for the curriculum. Kevin is a history buff and volunteers as a creative consultant for his community’s history center.
